We've just received the new version of Quicktime 2.5 for the Macintosh. This version comes with an improved installer program which installs all of the necessary Quicktime components in your system. If you'd like to install Quicktime 2.5 in your system using this installer, open the folder called "QUICKTIME 2.5" and select the "Install Quicktime" icon.
If you select to install Quicktime 2.5 using the installer you won't need to worry about putting the items in the "place contents in system folder" folder in your system folder.
